OK for starters sorry for lack of posts in ...yeah.
The reason for this is a virus, then lost my isp then motom died on me.
Well enough of that depressing stuff as I need to get it out of my head.
Things I have been learning...
All right I have gone over windows applications and windows forms applications. I have made a hello world document in each. The Console application was a just Console.WriteLine("Hello World"); . The windows forms application was done by making a button then creating a MessageBox.Show("Hello World"); .
I also learned some basics about the development environments them selves such as info on the properties menu, how to save applications, the solution explorer, a few thing about the debug options, and a bit about the tool box. Add in a few things about the braces, and comments as well.
I picked up the difference between Write() and WriteLine() still not seeing the importance of it tho. Learned the ReadLine() at the same time for input.
Their was some light explanations on Namespaces, Classes, Mehodes, and Statements. They were compared to place in the world such as a country has a state that has a city that has a street that has a house. It was explained in such a way.
OK some thing I am not entirely clear on was explained variables, and string variables. Now it showed two different ways of doing this they were to write numbers starting from zero in accordance to the variables that would be listed at the end, the other was to just wright out the variables with + on each side. I really don't see the purpose of both as they appear to do the exact same thing or does it have to do with just the code not the end application?
To wrap it up I wrote a little story that takes some input from the user and adds it to the story.
The variables I used whee the name of a friend-friend, your friends gender-gender, your favorite sport-game, a limb on your body-limb. As for the story I will leave it up to your imagination.
I learned more but as I am not using my own computer right now and am just throwing out my notes of what I learned sorry.

The First Post
OK it is time for me to make my first post.
Now I know I have said I have no knowledge of programming but in truth I have looked over my options. I have decided to learn C# as my first computer language. I have downloaded the necessary software and found one or two resources.
I will say thanks to any one who might read this and maybe comment be it to give advice, criticism, support, or spam... well maybe not the spammers but I guess that's fine to.
